What is your name and position at AYW?

Paul O’Brien, Board Member

How long have you been working with AYW?

2 years

As a Board Member, what have you learned or what has been your experience at AYW?

Opportunities to make a difference in the world are abundant and one in particular increasingly critical in our economy, is what is being served through AYW. As AI increasingly challenges what our workforce will look like, we know the skills, experiences, and jobs developed and filled, by the work being done here.

How has AYW changed since you started as Board Member?

What it means to work meaningfully is constantly evolving and AYW evolves with that to ensure everyone thrives, from 3D Printing to increasingly serving workforce demands in CleanTech Energy, let’s get more people in sectors of the economy in high demand for labor.

What is a hobby or interest you’d like to share?

I live and breathe startups, from my work with governments for Founder Institute to my research and policy work through Startup Economist, some of us love to work and it’s fair to say that my hobby is what I do for a living.
