Texas Conservation Corps (TxCC) is a 21st Century Conservation Service Corps accredited program that empowers young people through AmeriCorps service, conservation, education, and jobs training.

We recruit people who have a passion for the environment and working outdoors, and an interest in gaining new skill sets and experiences – no experience is required to join our program. Participants engage in hands-on projects on public lands, coastal regions, and disaster areas throughout the natural landscapes of Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Harvey Strike Teams

Texas Conservation Corps is proud to announce the creation of our Harvey Strike Teams! In partnership with JPMorgan Chase, we will have two teams work throughout the Houston metro area repairing low-income homes affected by Hurricane Harvey.

The Harvey Strike Teams will be based out of our Houston operating site, and work a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule.

These teams will receive FEMA, OSHA, and NCCER certifications during their term of service.

Individual Placements

Each year Texas Conservation Corps has the opportunity to place individuals with our National Park Service and Forest Service partners. These members serve full-time at our participating partner sites for the length of their service term. The work activities are developed by our partners and are unique to that position description and site.
